New York City-based photographer Bill Levey thrives on capturing unique moments in people’s lives and highlighting beauty in the world, both on land and below the water. One of Fast Company’s “Most Creative People”, Bill fell in love with photography at an early age, playing in his father’s darkroom at home in southern Virginia. In 2000, he toured the United States while working for the Dave Matthews Band, blogging and shooting on a Kodak sponsorship. After the tour, he moved to NYC, and has been traveling the world every chance he gets.
Bill Levey’s photography has been featured in numerous magazines, blogs and websites, and his work is currently on display in the permanent at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan in its exhibit “Eat, Sleep, Play” (www.cmom.org). Also an entrepreneur, inventor (he holds a U.S. utility patent) and creative lawyer, Bill is one of those people who doesn’t fit into a box, yet fits in anywhere he goes. He has been described by friends as “the most laid-back perfectionist you’ll ever meet.”
