Showcasing one of the largest and unique displays of human creativity, the 70,000 people who attend Burning Man offer one of the most beautiful displays of humanity in the world during the time they inhabit the temporary city in the desert know as Black Rock City. For anyone unfamiliar, Burning Man is a week-long festival held every year in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada, U.S.A. Among other principles that are the bedrock of the festival, it is a gift economy (nothing is bought nor sold, nor bartered), and the festival is a leave no trace event. The only thing that remains are memories, and these photos.
